The Harry Potter fandom is so huge that literally everyone has different views and opinions on characters, ships, theories etc, but I don’t think I have ever in my life encountered a Harry Potter fan who doesn’t hate Umbridge with burning passion.
Its good because it makes us unite against a common enemy.
Its strange that the common enemy isn’t the series’s main villain.
I know someone who likes Umbridge though… We had a discussion about it once and then I never wanted to bring it up again.

Literally nothing good came from magic for Petunia. First Lily being magical meant they were separated like nine months out of the year. Second her sister got married and moved to a magical village. Third, the one other magical person that Petunia knew got her sister killed. The end.

I love these little bits in the books, they give everything so much more depth!
Just look at this part from Order of the Phoenix, when they’re talking about dementors right after Harry and Dudley got attacked;
‘How did you know that?’ he asked her, astonished.
Aunt Petunia looked quite appalled with herself. She glanced at Uncle Vernon in fearful apology, then lowered her hand slightly to reveal her horsy teeth.
‘I heard - that awful boy - telling her about them - years ago,’ she said jerkily.
‘If you mean my mum and dad, why don’t you use their names?’ said Harry loudly, but Aunt Petunia ignored him. She seemed horribly flustered.
The thing is, Aunt Petunia isn’t talking about James as ‘that awful boy’ she’s talking about Snape! And this is before the Snape’s worst memory chapter, did we even know anything about him and Lily being close at this point? I don’t think so.
Another proof that the books really are written from Harry’s point of view and how much we really are missing about the characters because Harry doesn’t know or doesn’t deem it important enough to notice.
(Also between book 3 and book 5 did anyone even remember that Ginny existed? Because I forgot all about her until Harry started to notice her again. Never once I wondered where she had gone.)

I’m sorry but don’t you mean the four original Marauders?
Because I remember very well that Peter Pettigrew died, strangled by his own silver hand, because he spared Harry’s life.
He may have been weak minded and not as courageous as the other Marauders but he still died for Harry.

I just watched Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince for the second time ever.
When I saw it in 2009 it was all about lovey-dovey teenage romance.
I was all I remembered from it at least.
(I might just have seen this one too many times…)
But now there’s just so much Dumbledore’s Death all over the place.
And the hallow mark is clearly visible on his wand several times.
That bugged me for some reason.
Also the Dark Mark should be green, just sayin’. So much more scary.
And all the Harry/Ginny moments I loved in the book are all wrong.
Every single one of them.
And the movie lacks some serious Quidditch.
One Quidditch match is not enough.
And no Harry and Ginny kissing because they won the Quidditch Cup.
I mean, that’s the best reason to kiss, ever!
Hiding books in the room of requirement is just not the same.
Also, I waited with expectation for this;
(I had the urge to shout; “Look! There’s TUMBLR!” I just felt so at home)
And this is also pretty. Me like fire. And look at the funny corpse to the left, toppling over his friend<3
Now I’m going to bed. I’ve promised the one with the messy hair (Sr.) to be awake at noon tomorrow.

Who would ever name their child Dorcas?
And she is mentioned once in the books, as a member of the Order of the Phoenix and a friend of Lily and James’.
So.. where is Remus in this? With Sirius, obviously.

Feels like such a long time ago D;
Did it all really happen last night?
Got home from the premiere around 4 am, and fell asleep in my clothes.
I was lucky my chest binding loosened during the night for otherwise… Yeah I’d be dead XD Or at least unable to breath.
BUT NOW I’M AWAKE AND EVERYTHING IS LIKE:
I’VE GOT A POST-POTTER-HANGOVER.
Midnight Premiere Tonight.
Tonight my name is Remus Lupin, and I don’t believe that I am ready for this just yet.
I have never been a huge fan of the movies since the third one came out, but from then seen the books and films as separate fandoms. But tonight, when “it all comes to an end” I feel like I will go crazy.
I have not had this many emotions since that summer four years ago.
Because even if it’s the end of an era, it’s still the beginning of a legend.
And I want to be a part of that legend.
And I will be, as a part of the Harry Potter generation.
And this is me, at my nerdiest.
